Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: June 29, 2026
The Short Version
Some links on AIToolStack are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This revenue supports the site but never influences which tools we recommend or how we rank them.
How We Earn Revenue
AIToolStack earns revenue through two channels:
- Affiliate commissions: Some tools listed on our site have affiliate programs. When you click a link to one of these tools and subsequently make a purchase or sign up for a paid plan, we may earn a referral commission. The commission is paid by the tool maker — you pay the same price regardless of whether you use our link or go directly to the tool's website.
- Sponsored placements: Tool makers can pay for featured placements on profession pages and sponsored comparison pages. All sponsored content is clearly labeled with a "Sponsored" or "Featured" badge. See our Advertise page for details.
How This Affects Our Recommendations
It doesn't.
Our editorial process is independent of our revenue streams. Here's what that means in practice:
- We recommend tools that don't have affiliate programs if they're the best option for a profession. Revenue potential doesn't determine inclusion.
- We decline sponsored placement requests from tools that don't meet our quality standards, regardless of the budget offered.
- Evaluation scores and comparative rankings are determined by our methodology, not by affiliate relationship status.
- We list free, open-source, and freemium tools alongside paid tools — many of our recommendations are tools that earn us nothing.
Identifying Affiliate Links
Outbound links to tools on our site may be affiliate links. In general, any "Visit Site," "Try Free," or similar call-to-action button on a tool's detail page may contain an affiliate tracking parameter. Standard informational links (e.g., links within comparison text or methodology references) are not affiliate links.
FTC Compliance
This disclosure is provided in compliance with the Federal Trade Commission's guidelines on endorsements and testimonials (16 CFR Part 255). We believe in full transparency about our business model and encourage you to read our methodology to understand how we evaluate tools independently of any financial relationship.
